Ebony S. Small is a fractional executive, leadership coach, and author who partners with senior leaders and organizations to strengthen leadership capacity, align strategy, and drive sustainable impact.

With more than 25 years of experience, Ebony has led high-performing teams and complex initiatives, including large-scale global in-person and digital events that have reached millions. She is known for maximizing people and resources, developing leaders, and building organizational systems that translate vision into execution.

At the core of Ebony’s work is a passion for transforming leaders through coaching, leadership development, and high-trust collaborative partnerships that create generational impact. An ordained minister and gifted communicator, she brings both strategic clarity and deep relational intelligence to every environment she serves.

Ebony has spoken at national and global gatherings including Q Conference, Amplify, Collyde, Together, The Table Coalition, and Movement Day, as well as numerous church and parachurch events. From 2016 to 2019, she served as Co-Catalyst for Cities with The Lausanne Movement, helping to mobilize and engage emerging leaders in city-wide gospel movements. Her leadership has also included mentoring leaders within Lausanne’s Younger Leaders Generation initiative, serving on the board of The Table Coalition (formerly Mission America Coalition), and serving on the Advisory Board of Cru NYC Millennials.

Ebony currently serves as an Associate Pastor at The River Church in Durham, North Carolina. She is the author of The Leader in You: Discovering Your Unexpected Path to Influence and the CEO of Transforming Leaders Consulting.

She is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation and holds a Master of Professional Studies with distinction from Alliance University (formerly Nyack College), as well as a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
