Ebony S. Small is a fractional leader, coach, and author. For over 24 years, she has served organizations and led high-performing teams to produce large-scale global in-person and digital events that have impacted millions. She is a maximizer of people and resources and skilled in organizational leadership. She is known for developing and unleashing leaders.

Ebony’s passion is to transform leaders through coaching, leadership development, and ultimately high-level collaborative partnerships that have generational impact. She is an excellent communicator, ordained minister, and teacher. She has been a guest speaker at the Q Conference, Amplify, Collyde, Together, The Table Coalition, Movement Day, and at many other church and parachurch events.

Ebony was appointed co-catalyst for cities with The Lausanne Movement in 2016, a role she held until 2019. She has worked to build engagement by emerging leaders in city Gospel movements. Her work includes serving as a mentor for the Lausanne Movement’s Younger Leaders Generation initiative and serving on the board of The Table Coalition (formerly Mission America Coalition), and on the Advisory Board of Cru NYC Millennials.

Ebony serves as an associate pastor at The River Church, in Durham, NC, is the author of The Leader in You: Discovering Your Unexpected Path to Influence, and is the CEO of Transforming Leaders Consulting.

Ebony received a Master Professional Studies degree with distinction from Alliance University and a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
